Beethoven Virus is da best! I love you Maestro Kang!!

This post is full of emotions and feelings that I have for the drama, Beethoven Virus

I just bought this CD 3 days ago, and just finished watching it less than 30 minutes ago

This movie is so exciting! I think I had enough of the cute, sweet, caring male character, and now I'm into the mean, foul-mouthed and egoistic kind of character

There are three leads, Maestro Kang Gun-Woo, Du Ru-Mi and Kang Gun-Woo (younger).

This story is very unique because there are lots that can be learn from this drama ; the art of leadership, love, friendship, pride and dignity. Not to mention : the beauty of classical music

At the beginning. I hated the maestro so much. OMG, he's merciless and sarcastic. I like the younger Gun-Woo better and I was hoping that he will get together with Ru-Mi. But, I had a change of heart; a complete turnaround. Although the Maestro had the 'evil' and monstrous looks from the outside, he cares for his people so much. "They're my musicians! Only I have the right to fire them! They're mine!". Since then, I was like.... whoa! Cool! But he tends to keep those sides only to himself and no one noticed it; except for Ru-Mi.

As for the younger Gun-Woo... well, I like him. He's sweet, caring, lovable etc. But he's no match for the maestro. I don't like it when he tried to oppose his maestro. Well, I admire his braveness but it always appear at the wrong time. Stubborn. Haist~

What I like most about maestro is his love towards Du Ru-Mi. Being stubborn, arrogant and fear to reveal his true feelings, he gave in at last. *Although he didn't admit that he loves her, action speaks louder that words*. When Ru-Mi went for a trip by bicycle, she called him every day, but he didn't answer. Instead, he listens to every voice mail that she left him. On the last day of the trip, he waited for her at the top of the hill *so sweet!!*. Hey, it's not easy for a person like that to be able to do something so sweet. And Ru-Mi ran to hug him. I cried.

Well, knowing his personality, he said that he went there because he wanted to ask about the coffee *buweh~ silly excuse. cute*. Another touching scene was when Ru-Mi and maestro met at the hospital. One of her ears are deaf and she couldn't hear with her other ear without a hearing aid. That's when the maestro noticed it and kind of badmouth her *which was actually an advice. he has his own ways though*. Ru-Mi said that she was studying composing and told him that there must be something that she can be good at, even when she's deaf. His face at that time was like dumbstruck. He didn't know what to do. He wanted to comfort her, but his ego blocked it. and i cried again.

The next time I cried was when he and Ru-Mi decided not to see each other again. He gave her a CD saying that there's a high note *E, if I'm not mistaken* that a deaf person can listen *I can't remember the name*. That's when he said that their love is not deep and he hated the feeling of depending on someone, and being depended by her. He said that it changed his music. Then Ru-Mi said to stop seeing each other again. Ugh~ I cried again.

Lastly, the Maestro was hired by the Munich Phil. Before he took off, he went to see Ru-Mi. He refused to take pics and gave her his ring as something to remember. Ahhh.. teary eyes. Then they went to a stage hall and Ru-Mi suddenly took off her shoes and socks trying to feel the vibration like a deaf percussionist *can't remember the name*. That's when she suddenly went deaf again and she asked the Maestro to be truthful to her. He said that he kicked her out of the orches not because he hated her *finally! a confession! although it didn't seem like one* and they have to part because they have their own ways and he said thanks for all the care she have given him. I exploded with tears.

Kim Myung-Min *the one who plays as maestro* is superb!!! I can't believe that a hateful character can be very charming and lovable at the same time! I proudly admit that his acting is no. 1 in Korea!!! No wonder this drama got a lot of awards. I heard that KMM even practiced conducting for 5 months for this drama and he did conducted a few play during the press conference for BV! He conducted Ennio Morricone's "Gabriel's Oboe" and Brahms' "Hungarian Dances" with the orchestra in front of reporters and fans who came to the venue.

Kim Myung-Min, E Ji-ah, Jang-Keung-suk and the other actors, you guy's have liven my day! Oh yeah, actually I purchased a pirated copy of the drama. I'm gonna buy the original CDs once I've gotten my money to show my support and love for this series. Hwaiting!

I do hope that BV will do a special episode where the maestro and Ru-Mi will be together again. Like... Ru-mi became famous at composing and fly to Germany and able to meet up with maestro! I really want to see them together because I don't like the scene where they said their good-byes.

Lee Eun Ji : a tragedy

While I was browsing aimlessly on the net,

I came across an article which has something to do with my favourite boyband, Super Junior

This is a story about a girl named Lee Eun Ji, who committed suicide in year 2007

This girl's story were everywhere, Korean Times : Guest on the Tv show kill herself, Donga Ilbo : A lesson Learned from a High School Girl’s Death, Chosun Ilbo: Weight loss Star Commits Suicide, Hankyoreh : Criticism mount over verbal attacks in cyberspace.

Lee Eun Ji, a sixteen-years-old girl, is a weight-loss celebrity who died of verbal attacks from SuJu fans. This middle-school girl lost 40kg in 3 months and was called to a broadcast show called STAR KING. She was originally 87kg and her extreme weight-loss attracted a lot of people to know about her success.

So, the girl attended the show and told the viewers about all her hard work of putting off some weight. "I did this because my late grandmother was very worried about my body size!" said the innocent girl who was fulfilling her late grandmother's dying wish.

Guys, being able to be on a tv show enables Lee to meet with one of the members of Super Junior, KangIn who attend the show as one of the guest artist. The photo which have been taken using an ordinary phone camera made her so happy and she uploaded the picture to her website and online profiles.

Korea is known as one of the country with the fastest broadband in the world. In just a few hours, the picture was spread all over the world. That girl never thought that a picture with KangIn would made the ELF mad.

One of her classmate said, "After the picture was spread online, she was badly frightened after she received about a dozen threatening phone calls and text messages a day from fans of the group.” Another friend said, “She received those phone calls even at home.” In relation to this, some netizens criticized the fan club of “S” group for bombarding her with the hate messages that may have eventually driven her to end her own life.

The Korea Times :

There was a written will on her desk. It read, "I'm sad to have been scolded. Father and mother, I'm sorry for having worried you. I'm sorry for having given you pain.''

Could you imagine? Being attacked from the net, her cell phone, at home and even at the school!

What's the big deal of having a picture taken with one of the members? They acted as though SuJu is their property, like it's theirs. But it is not. Giving support to the band is the duty of the fans, they should be happy knowing Lee is a fan of the band, not attack her out of jealousy. Some netizens blamed the ELF for the death of Lee because of the malicious comment made on the net. Well, I'm not blaming all of them, because not all fans are that crazy. Shame on you whoever attacked Lee verbally. May this be a lesson for everyone

Talking about fans, they really have an extreme obsession towards SuJu. They were asked,

"Would you keep loving them even if they didn’t return your love?”

“Of course ― until the day I die!”

A fan of the pop group also posted a written apology on a portal site. She said she and other fans recognized their comments could have led to Lee's suicide and apologized, adding they were regretful for having been jealous of the picture.

[W]hat angers me most is that Lee Eun Ji’s cyworld post back in May clearly demonstrated that she was suffering from depression, but Elves [fans] just continued to torture the poor girl.

Lee Eun Ji mentioned that she went up to her attic several times because she thought that it was better to end her life than to continue with her rigorous diet (she starved herself for three months, drinking only one or two cups of milk daily). She also cried her heart out saying it’s very difficult to deal with all the crap she’s currently going through. Before her weight loss, people treated her like a pig and after her weight-loss people are treating her like a liar (some were accusing her of losing weight via plastic surgery and/or diet pills). Any sensible person would’ve realized that this girl is suffering a lot and that she’s in fragile condition, but Elves ignored her plead and continued to attack her, which apparently pushed Lee Eun Ji over the edge.

Again, what's the big deal about taking a picture with one of the members? These celebs take pictures with hundreds of people, so why pick on this girl who went through a lot of hardships to fulfill he grandmother's dying wish? When will the die-hard fans realize that such behaviour in the name of "love" for their idol is just too much for people to accept? I am a great fan of SuJu to0, but I will never ever do those cruel things to such an innocent girl and I'm glad for her that all her hard work gave a very successful outcome.
